Meet my Family

My family has been through a lot but we are moving on. Soon after my parents Divorce all of the siblings moved in with my mother. 

We have lived in this house since 2006-2014 and then again from 2016 to now.

Many of us younger siblings have made all of our memories here. So it was easy to move back.

Only this time we felt like a broken family. It was wierd living without our dad. He had held everything together. Learning to be a family again was a bit hard for everyone. But through these past 5 years since then we have formed a family bond that is stronger then it has ever been.

We are fixing up the old place so we can put it up for sale. It fell apart after we got it back from our renters. We have done quite a bit! I'll put up some of our progress as we go..

So a quick introduction to the members of my family.

My Mother RaeLynn who taught me everything I know about being a housewife and is teaching me still on being a mother, I hope to share what I have learned with you.

I have 5 siblings.. In order of age there is Sierra (sister), Dakota (brother), Me, Kiowa (brother), Sequoia (sister) and Ukiyah (brother).

Dakota is Married to his beautiful wife Cheyenne. 

And they have adorable two year old twins, their son Genesis and their daughter Dahlia.

I will give a more detailed introduction soon.

I am hoping to document our journey from now to our new home, wherever it may be, and then our new journey there!

Our failed Adventure

In 2014 my dad decided that we would move from our home of 8 years and go to Arizona. The family did not like the idea at all but he had his way. We put the house up for rent and as soon as we found some renters, He bought two RVs and we pulled them all the way from central Oregon to Flagstaff. 

Once we got there we settled in a spot we found in the woods about 10 miles from town. And we stayed there for about 4 months while we were searching for a piece of land to buy. 

Near the end of that 4 months we were all restless and started bickering. My mom and us kids threatened to take one of the RVs and leave him there, and so he decided we would move back to Oregon. 

He found a piece of land in Cave Junction. If you haven't heard of it it's a tiny town about 40 minutes away from Grants Pass. I ended up loving the area but it was short lived. The end of the next summer is when my dad decided to do everything he originally wanted to do without us.

 

As a family we are in a better place now. Plus I have my own family now. If it wasn't for our faild adventure I may have never met my husband. That being said I have no complaints. We are now planning our own adventure into the unknown..

A little bit about me

I am married to my sweet husband Dusty.

And I am a first time mother to our little boy Gideon.

I decided to leave my first post up just as a reminder of how far I've come. I will use my first few posts to chatch up to where I am now.

In 2015 i was living with my mom and two sisters and little brother in a small townhouse. My parents had just went through a divorce, something that my family had never believed in or ever thought of until my father got adventurous and his family of 6 kids and a wife were too restricting. 

One of my brothers stayed with my dad and my other brother moved away. And with that my mom and us moved back to our hometown. We found a temporary townhouse to rent until we could get our childhood home back from our renters. 

Later that year I attempted to get my GED at our community college, and in April 2016 I met Dusty in one of those GED classes.

We started dating and 2 years later we married in October of 2018. 

And March 2nd of 2020 we now have our beautiful son Gideon. 

Now we are here. My husband and I are living with my mother in my childhood home. We are living in a bunker we built in half of the old shop on my moms land. 

The family is planning to move as soon as we can to a bigger place with more land. As of right now my whole family of 12 (including married in family and kids) all live here with my mom in her 5 bedroom house on her 0.75 acre lot. Now that we are all caught up I can introduce my family.. But that will have to be on the next post! 

Hello World + A Few of My Favorite Things

Hello everyone! I am very new to this blogging think so I hope I rock it!
here are a few of my favorite things, I like music, art, movies, books and I have this deep indescribable love for lost and long forgotten things, broken things that most of the world has no need to remember, I also love to write, making wild fantasy's for characters I hope to share with others one day. Yes I know I am an odd ball, I hope that makes me a good blogger! :)
